SECOND OPINION

The concept of second opinions stems from the fact that all patients have a choice to seek another opinion, and to take informed decisions about their treatment. Second opinions do not diminish the doctor from whom the primary opinion was obtained, nor do they reflect badly on him, but they do make patients more comfortable and in complicated cases, allow different perspectives to be obtained on the situation.
